Our staff is having a holiday party this month (two, in fact) and there’s much to celebrate this year at HRBiz. Would you like to know why we’re excited? We thought so! We’ll count off the reasons for you, since math is what we do best:

1.      Our client base has grown to over 200 individual, unique businesses who have chosen our services this year. Thank you for your confidence in us. We enjoy getting to know you and working on future planning together. Our goal is your success.

2.      Social media buzz really took off this summer! We did interviews on Chattanooga Business Radio, 3 Plus You, and were featured in Edge magazine – all within a 3-month span.

3.      We’ve had a dozen or so clients in the news, including other INCubator businesses on the radio, a few local places listed in the “Best Town” award article, at least two in the “Dining Out” section of the paper, and plenty more. You might even say we trip over our Feetz when we see how popular our clients have become! We’re excited to see them recognized for their good work. If you haven’t been to our website lately, you’ll see that we feature a different client each month on our home page.

4.      Our SBDC partnership classes remain popular. We had over 70 students attend our free Entrepreneur Bookkeeping class. It’s great to know new start-ups actively use local resources and tools to help them launch well.

5.      We doubled our staff this year. At the end of 2014, we had four employees. This year, we have eight! We’re practically a magnet – Dory from Maryland, Ashley from California, Julie from Texas, and Beth from down the road in Georgia. Need we say more about how “attract-ive” we are?

As always, we’re thankful for our expanding circles – the rapport we share in the office, the spirit here in the INCubator with other start-ups, and being part of the local business community. We’re excited to see what’s in store for 2016!

Lynn Talbott, MBA, PHR, has over 20 years’ experience consulting with entrepreneurs of small to mid-sized businesses in the HR and office management capacity.  Her energy and enthusiasm for new businesses is an asset for her clients. Her specialties are Office/Human Resource Manager coaching and training and finding practical solutions for bookkeeping errors and HR blunders.  Lynn has helped manage over 50 business start-ups and many of those companies continue to rely on her expertise today as they continue to grow.
